Before you start usingit, here is something you need to prepare.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">1. WSG309SEVB<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">2. USB Type A connectorfor power and data communication<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">3. Serial COM port Tool<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">4. PC or Notebook<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>General Overview<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">This Chapter shows the overview of EVB. While the UART interface of WSG309Sis reserved for design purpose, it could be used to pre-development in early stage of product.The Pin definition is show as below:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">If you want to enable the UART function of pin header, please implement 2 jumpers with correct direction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-92\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ifroglab.com\/sigfox\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Screen-Shot-2019-10-25-at-5.21.52-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"369\" height=\"383\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ifroglab.com\/sigfox\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Screen-Shot-2019-10-25-at-5.21.57-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"724\" height=\"123\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Operation Procedures Illustration<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Power on the Module<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1.Install the SigFoxAntenna.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">2.Plug-inthe USB port.TheD1 LEDon the EVB will be lightin green. And WSG309Smodule will be powered on (WSG309Smodule does not have PWRKEY pin).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Let PC\/Laptop access the internet and wait for the driver installation of USB-to-Serial (UART) Bridge Controller. The driver would install automatically.<\/p>\n<p>4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">To check the device manager if a new serial COM port is created.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Communication via UARTinterface<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">(1) Connect the main port of EVB to PC USB port.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">(2) Open the AT command toolsuch as HyperTerminal on PC. The location of the HyperTerminal in Windows XP system is Start<span class=\"s1\">\u2192<\/span>Program<span class=\"s1\">\u2192<\/span>Accessory<span class=\"s1\">\u2192<\/span>Communication<span class=\"s1\">\u2192<\/span>HyperTerminal.
